Egyptian Maus n CatWoman

Dang, I love CatWoman with Halle Berry. Love the way she turned off the music at the party... That scene was funny! Although some of the scenes in which she runs up the walls I find a bit freaky. The Mau cat that's on that movie is so freaken cute! Called Egyptian Mau, they're rare and the history is not been documented but its believed that they originate from African Wild cats due to its similarities. Once it was domesticated, it's been seen in Egyptian art [2200BC]. They were seen as companions, protectors, trained to hunt prey [fish, birds...] and returned it to their owners and even guardians of crops. If you would kill or seen killing a cat, it was a crime and death by stoning would be your judgment. These kitties can reach up to 30M/PH running! And their personalities if not wean correctly with a loving and caring hand they will not be shy and reclusive which they can eventually hiss and scratch if not socialized correctly in kitten-hood.

Me thinks Mitsuru has a little Egyptian Mau in her. She tends to love my company and attach herself to me. She loves to participate with me when I'm crafting, whether I like it or not. She'll want to be there... As Mau's love attention and dislike you having privacy, Mimi feels that if there's door close and you're inside that room she will meow, a plea of ' let me in.' And she welcomes me home when I come back but not to BFG... heee... BFG, is like why you and not me... heee... She will have conversations with me while crafting or just sitting next to me watching tv or surfing.

I wonder if this post should go on their blog? oh well... too lazy...

Been reading Lara again. She's so interesting... Ah brings back the times of partying in the gay village. Remember that Mondo... Amazing... That really gave me a platform to be very open minded to all sorts of things... K.O.X [now closed] really opened up my mind.. oh let's not forget the partying with Carolyne [RIP, my sweet friend] and all the girls at Sisters... aaahh, the times of clubbing! I also, remember my 1st girl kiss [heee, I kissed a girl by Kelly Perry just came on my itunes, while writing this, too funny!]... oh the memories... heee... and the swimming in our undies... and Carlos, HOT but bats for the other team! the under ground music was the best. Oh and when Warehouse parties that became RAVES, after hour clubs SKY, PlayGround, etc. and the hot bodies of the gay men... sheesh... Totally fun!!! Crap, how things have changed in my life... From wild to totally calm! But regrets not ONE!

The Changeling

The 2008 film Changeling [with Angelina Jolie] based loosely on the Wineville Chicken Murders. 11/1/30 Wineville's name was changed to Mira Loma due to the high publicity of the murders but there's an avenue, park, road and other references to remind them of what it was called before. A very interesting story...

Joseph (Dega) Lazare (Mohawk) is an animator and director of short films who has been making movies since he was thirteen. In 2008 his animated short By the Rapids was selected by Canada's Aboriginal Peoples Television Network to be developed as a half-hour series for their fall season. He has interned at Big Soul Productions, the Native youth media organization in Toronto which produced Might of the Starchaser, an official selection of the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. Lazare participated in CyberPowWow 2004, an interactive visual art exhibition, web-hosted by Oboro Gallery of Montreal. In 2001 and 2002 Lazare won the Best Poster award at the Toronto International Teen Movie Festival. Lazare lives in his hometown of Kahnawake, Quebec, where he designs Mohawk-language textbooks for schoolchildren.

"I began shooting film through Teioiaks, a program that helps kids make movies, kind of like a film summer camp. I got a great response and decided this is what I want to do. I intend to keep on making movies that tell great stories while keeping my unique artistic vision."

Director Joseph Lazare says:
"Good Looking was the first production I did that had a craft truck! What was also great was that this is the first film where I wrote about the struggles of a female protagonist. Most of my films are about Mohawk guys saving the planet from aliens.
I was inspired to create Good Looking after hearing all of the crazy audition horror stories my actor friends would tell me. I dedicate this film to any Native actor who had to go beyond their limits just to see their face on screen."

And other movies I been watching these past few days: Ditto [a very sad, sad movie... of romance that would/could never be! cry, cry. grab the Kleenex box] ...ing [freaken' sad!!], like a virgin[some what funny but weird, too...], my scary girlfriend[ funny as hell...], Bounce Ko Gals [Jmovie - very interesting movie about the sub-culture of japanese school girls selling themselves for a quick yen... very unbiased! amazing movie...]

200lb beauty [over-weight girl wants to be a pops-singer, goes through massive plastic surgery to be totally gorgeous! very funny!!! has a remake of Maria by Blondie in Korean! Pretty nice...], perfect couple/Beautiful romance, I'm a cyborg but that's okay, spy girl [NK come to SK to spy... falls for young guy!], 110 days w/ mr arrogant [boy meets girl, initially hate each other, but then have no choice to be together and fall in love], who are you [girl meets boy in an avatar-based dating game...], unstoppable marriage [romantic comedy which manages to combine and perfectly balance believable, heartfelt amour with a steady stream of hilarity], too beautiful lie[ex-con artist crosses path with a shy & unsure man who's going to see his gf. By a small series of unexpected events, the ring he planned for his gf ends up in the ex-cons possession, which at the same time, looses her bag. With only information she had chance to gather, she decides to find him, give him back the ring and take back her bag. However, at the moment of giving back the ring, her old lying habit kick back and pretend to be the guys fiancé... obviously, hilarity and adventure ensues.], my tutor friend [story of two completely different students from two completely different worlds. One is a rich male repeating his third year of high school and the other a poor girl in her second year of university struggling to make ends meet.] and many more...

The first 2 movies the actress Chiaki Kuriyama who plays in them also played in Kill Bill, Volume I as Gogo Yubari.

Another is CJ7 [Cháng Jiāng qī hào] a Chinese film that came out in Jan/08 in HK. Stephen Chow Directed, produced, wrote it and acted in the film. He was behind Shaolin Soccer, God of Cookery, Kung Fu Hustle and many many more funny/action pack movies... He is quite eccentric but a genius! Other movies he's working on Dragonball (2009) (Producer) (In Production) and Kung Fu Hustle 2 (2010) (In Production). I cannot wait for them....
