On the 16th we had Bibimbap and then the next night the same. BFG loved it so very much he didn't mind it having twice for dinner. :)
It did take a long time to cut all the veggies but it was so worth it. BFG was so tired from going out shopping. I was still on an energy buzz. So, decided that to make yummy, yummy Bibimbap. Plus, the freaken regular resto we go to are taking a freaken vacation again!!! Arrggg.... BFG and hate when they go off on vacation cuz they close down the resto. So, sad... :(
I love mixing it and adding some yummy radish kimchi is so freaken good and spicy. My mouth waters when I think of it. Yum!! Need to remember to buy sesame oil cuz I used it all up for the Bibimbap. I should have remember when we went shopping yesterday. Damn... Oh well, I'll just pick it up on another occasion.
woke early 7am... BFG couldn't sleep and I had a sense he was not next to me. Found him watching tv in the living room. It annoys me when he leaves all the light on and he's not using them. Had my coffee with some yummy Chinese pastries... Tired a bit and thinking still on the haircut... The dealer has yet to send the info on $$$... I want them and getting a bit annoyed at them.
Woke up 10am... feel like I need to get a haircut, my hairs is so freaken long... got ready and spend the day at the dealer.... Road testing and talking over the expenses for the repairs. I want to see how much its going to cost before doing the repairs. They're avoiding the matter and its getting on my nerves. Will see if we receive the info by the end of the day.
Stopped at DeSerres got some stuff... We ate Korean... Was really good... Bibimbap and Korean pancake, yum! We were so tired we came home and watched the news and bed was after the news...
Woke 11am... right lazy... BFG went to get the repairs done... Still in limbo as to what car to get. :(
Feel like having Dim Sum.. BFG's getting lunch! :) YUM! Waiting for it to come home. I thought we were going to the resto but there was no time. So, take out was the best option. :) Table is set up and green tea will be the choice of beverage. :)

Woke at 10 am... BFG went to do his rounds... spend a few hours on the net... Most of my time was spent on Flickr... I love it... uploaded photos and went on a lookie, lookie... Tweeted a few times but bored... nothing really new...
Spend the rest of the afternoon to evening cooking 'Stuffed Eggplant' Chinese style... BFG got tempura and tonkatsu [Japanese breaded chicken] with rice, salad and miso soup. Water was our beverage... Did I take a picture no, was to freaken hungry and tired to give a rats ass to take a photo.. lol...
Tonight we need to set the time ahead by one hour... whoopie doo... BFG is like I'm lossing an hr of sleep... I shouldn't work tomorrow. Next yr I'm making sure I don't work on that day. LOL... Makes me laugh...
Well, so tired that I'm about to pass out but I cannot go to bed just yet. I need to digest my food I little more.... :)

Woke up at 8am... Cleaned up the kitchen, put the dishes in the dishwasher. spend about an hour cleaning the bathroom, tub and kitty litter. By the time all was done it was 11am and called BFG to see what he wanted for lunch. I made perogies with the meat sauce[from scratch], Egg Foo Young [from scratch] and crepe au coq [frozen but not good]. BFG got yummy donuts that I haven't had for yrs.
BFG went to bed right after eating. He looked so tired. I cleaned my pc. Tweeted a bit and then went to OCM's blog to read. I watched the Caboodle - kitty video. And went on the search for the blog and site... And also found came upon My Life by Charity.
wake up 10:30am... BFG went for the car inspections... no biggie. had 2 mini brioche raisin snails... they're so yummy... want to try to make them [found a good recipe]... yum! logged on to twitter... and read a few things... lol...
Twinkie and Wife-Friend podcasted together... cute! :) freaken funny as hell... BFG kept calling me to inform me how the inspection went... had to pause... then called me, he went to the mall to try to see if he could buy a macrame belt and asked him to buy Gekkeikan sake [which I usually use to cook and rarely to drink].... continued listening... another call... they didn't have the one I wanted. had to googled and found it where to go... also, asked to get g-onions and ground pork. Want to make eggplant stuffed w/shrimp [dim sum style]. back to listening... that freaken podcast was hilarious... lol... left msg...

well... today started by Mitsuru waking us up with her little freaken scratching on the door... she hates locked doors, no matter what... she'll scratch the dickens out it until we open it...

Ended up in front of the pc once again... BFG sleeping... I got msg from mom, want fb access... tweeted a few hrs... updated my mtlresto pic... added a new twitter [UR_AY_GAS] to my list... Has a lovely blog named: pignoises. When I got the request I had to check it out... So, spend time at her twitter and blog... Very interesting... Gosh, she had such nice things to say about her friend Terry to have a friend describe you so sweetly is amazing... :) Mondo be like WTH... right mondo, her reads here on and off... u better talk about me like that Mondo... lol... anyways, so BFG and I were like dang that's an interesting name and started to laugh a bit [not meanly] but just imagining being at a doctor's office and calling that name it would put a smile on any ones face. I want that last name... it's nice and joyful... :)
And had a laugh at what her doggies mischief... lol... tell u animals are a riot... need to read a bit more... LOL...
At midday we had pancakes [we get it shipped by my mom], eggs, bacon and Smokies... I love REAL maple syrup but BFG is like Aunt Jemima's Butter Syrup ain't that bad... I was like no way artificial vs. the real thing no way... yukkies...
Just a little info.: new soju is made with sweet potato n tapioca and old style soju is made with buckwheat, rice. Fruit infused soju - tastes a lot like a vodka cooler.
Wanting Baton Rouge and gave BFG a shout and we got it for dinner... It was amazing! I love Baton Rouge. The only thing was that the place we regularly order it from was a bit far away, so as BFG was close to centre-ville. I ordered from there... WRONG!!!!
They forgot the avocado, croutons and bacon bits! :( Truly sadness came upon me. The freaken thing is not like cheap, dang thing is nearly 20$!!! I was very angry... About the only thing that we got happy was that they gave us more Creamy Blue Cheese dressing... Still... Anyways, we ate and had a bit left... heee... SO TOTALLY YUMMY!!!
And let's not talk about the ribs... They barely had any freaken meat! AAAHHH, never will be ordering from there again... I hate that place... I like the one near our house better... They never fuck-up our order and they never, never leave anything out of our food... And the ribs have plenty of meat on them!!!
And on top of it all I ate after 6pm... That was terrible... Need to loose those pounds and eating after a certain hour ain't that good! Oh well... Just a little slip, that was all!
So we bought an organic turkey for X-Mas. BFG entered a tirage and won. We got the call that he WON! We thought our new year 2009 started amazing!
BFG is totally happy! I'm super happy for him... He's like the last time I won something was like 20 yrs ago... Yikes, well I told him I won nothing ever... Been screwed over by many but never won nothing!
We are happy but now I need to look for recipes... He wants special recipes... Heee... We have to net surf and look at our recipe books to find yummy ones... Can't wait to try the stuff... That's really expensive meats... Apparently its like between 20-40$ per Kilo for meat. BFG told me that.
The Neimen Marcus recipe book may have something but I made one other recipe and well it wasn't that good... We have plenty of side dishes: green/white beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, carrots, broccoli and broccolini.
We love Basmati rice is great! The dried vegetables are great for soups... They're wonderful... :) Who would have thought VanHoutte made organic coffee... wonder if it is for real... Need to really get yourself inform when it comes to products being labeled ORGANIC because they may say it but it may only be 10% or more of the product that is organic and the rest just normal process... So being legally certified is one thing me as a consumer cares very much. The place where BFG won is a certified ORGANIC place and they only sell 100% organic stuff... Which makes me a bit happy! :)
My dream is to own a small farm and grow my own stuff and eventually build a green house for my family and I. Aaah, what a dream... BFG is like do we have to move to like the country? I don't think I would do very well there... heee... what people have done it in the past why not. It's in our genes!

I'm sad... Why? Been thinking and looking and gosh if I was to disappear tomorrow who'd give a fuck? maybe just bfg and family... I pay so much attention to others and like everything it just gets swept away into oblivion. I feel depressed and when I feel like this. I need to get the loneliness out of me. I cry and that's not even enough... I love life but just sometimes, like now, I feel like shit! Yeah, still somewhat young and all but the spirit, the spark and the want diminishes as the years go by. I tend to feel less and less part of this awful society. There are all sorts of things that I hate and detest from the world. I'm only one person. How do I, little old me, even begin to change anything in this awful, messy world!
I try to do nice things for people and put my heart and soul into it but in their eyes I only see that its not good enough. I helped this person in the street and she just pushed me and I felt like crying... I wanted to die and not be a human at that moment. Is it me, am I too sensitive? I speak to people and all I hear is that my opinion is not worth listening too and not good enough. I'm a fucking strong person, I have survived so much in this world. I've tried to end my life for the wrong reasons. I've endured many obstacles in my life. My life has not been a bed of roses at all... I been rich and poor... I've been alone and with others in my life.
I wish, sometimes, if it was possible to give my life to someone else who wants to be here... is that weird? I know that I cannot speak to people about this because they will only think that I'm fucked... or just laugh it off...

I prepared them and the froze them for another time... The time was tonight... It was amazing! Love the way they turned out!
All that was yumminess! We have left overs for another day! Yum! With this was my second time with the recipe and this time around it came out even better then the first. Why? Cuz I made extra sauce and basted every 15 min and cooked it about another 45min... They were amazing!!!
I made cabbage rolls last week and BFG loved them... I used a combination of all these recipes... I always cook with a little bit of everything and like to learn as much as I can, too! Plus, didn't use pressure cooker or dutch oven. The oven was out of the question. Instead, chose the stove, a regular pot, my own measurements and some of the ingredients... Had other recipes but I printed them out instead of saving them... :) Here are a few:
FOOTNOTES: Pressure cooker Arrange rolls as for oven baking, but cook for 20 minutes at 10 pounds of pressure. ===========*****============ [The Geocities site has recipes that I want to try!] HOLUPKIS (Cabbage Rolls) Compiled 8/93 with Mom in Georgia's Real Kitchen!! 1 lg. head cabbage (core, parboil & separate leaves) 2lb ground beef 1 egg 1 c. Long grain rice (cook as directed, set aside) 1 large onion, 1/2 green pepper, 3 stalks celery with leaves, 1 large carrot (all chopped) 1 can tomato juice Garlic salt (my addition) Pepper Saute' all chopped vegetables in melted margarine (or oleo as Mom said) until tender. (Mom also would saute' in bacon grease or salt pork if it was available because of the gooooooood flavor.) Mix ground beef, cooked rice, egg, and vegetables together with 1 tsp. Black pepper and 1 l/2 tsp. Garlic salt and combine everything until mixed well. In the bottom of a 6 - 8 quart dutch oven, place a few cabbage leaves and cut off the veins from each cabbage leaf and place those on the bottom (waste not...want not)... Take each leaf and put 1 or 2 heaping tablespoons (depending on leaf size) of mixture and roll leaf up and tuck in the ends...Place side by side in pan and then layer as needed. Pour tomato juice over top. Place any remaining cabbage leaves on top to keep holupki from burning. Cover with lid and place in 350 degree oven for 1 and 1/2 hours.. Lower heat to 300 degrees and bake an additional 2 - 3 hours. Make sure cabbage is tender. Cover and let sit in oven even an hour after it is turned off. The next day they are even better... ===========*****============ Golubvci (Cabbage Rolls) 1 whole head cabbage (about 3 pounds) Boiling water 1 pound ground beef 1/2 pound ground veal 3/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup packaged precooked rice 1 egg, beaten 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 5 slices bacon 1 can (16 ounces) tomatoes or sauerkraut 1/3 cup bouillon or meat broth 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper Remove core from cabbage. Place whole head in a large kettle filled with boiling water. Cover; cook 3 minutes. Remove softened outer leaves. Repeat until all large leaves have been removed (about 20 leaves). Cut thick center stem from each slice. Saute meat with onion 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in rice, egg, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Place 3 tablespoons meat mixture on each cabbage leaf. Roll each leaf, tucking ends in toward center. Fasten securely with wooden picks. Place each roll seam side down in a large skillet or Dutch oven. Lay bacon slices over top of cabbage rolls. Mix tomatoes, bouillon, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover; simmer about 1 hour, turning occasionally.

Last night we went to get fresh baked bagels, the best in the world! Had that for breakfast this morning! We should have gone this morning to get them and had them really fresh...

I still need to put it up on my side bar... Have the all cutzie site but haven't updated in a while, since July... managing more then one is a bit much. I wish they sold Kobe beef here but the best thing to it is Alberta beef which can be purchased from Le Bifthèque. I called to make sure that’s where they still get it, cuz you never know they might change it to the US or QC. The site is great for the specials and to get the information for menu, etc....
Woke up to the sound of rain... My body feeling heavy from going to bed so late... I immediately got my pc and headed to the living room... Fed the kitties! Seems some of the music bought on BFG’s pc doesn’t work on mine so I have to transfer it to CD then upload, what a crazy dumb ass way of buying but not being able to use it but on one machine... Rant.... here! Kitties are still demanding food! They eat and then want more WTF, which they throw-up because they have over indulged... goodness...

We have only one in the whole island! The people are so sweet! I ordered and paid w/ cc... BFG will pick up for 6pm. Dinner is ready... heee... Ordered TEMPEH!!! Haven’t had it for quite a while. You can say that my palette is truly multi cultural... I can eat from almost anywhere in the world. I love it and will always be that way. Bought the Korean bbq and had it frozen for a while decided to make it on the Japanese grill I brought back from Japan... That grill doesn't even exist here but its wonderful... I love my grill. These bbq ribs are boneless which is totally great and easier to eat... no bone to keep me from the flesh, yum!!
We had them 3 day in a row... they are totally amazing... I bought the sauce and marinade overnight... all I can say is JUICY, JUICY...
Thursday was a shopping day... Went to Walmart, the Mall, Deco-Decouvert, Future Shop, EB Games and Mondou.... got into a little scuffle at Walmart [bought a pink DS for Nat] with some indecent/disrespectful little girls!! but I ignore them and just went on my merry way! Went to an eyeglass place as mine were broken... Got an eye exam and got my old lenses into another frame. I will see if I'm a candidate for laser surgery. I got my fingers crossed that I will be able to have the surgery. They will call me sometime next week to make an appointment for the tests. Spoke for a while to the receptionist, who was from Cambodian. She had her wedding there over 1000 peeps she had in her wedding banquet. Dang!! She had the most blue-marine stone on her necklace that I had to ask her where she got it. And the conversation went on from there. Also, spoke to the eye doc from France. I guess it was kind of fun that I could speak with him in French, English and a bit of Italian. He told of his son who was going to Japan and that he got stuck in NYC because they wouldn't let him board due to him not having a Visa to China, as he had a lay over of 18hrs and that required a Visa. That was just to absurd... Anyways, he came back home and that was why he had Yen at his home... He goes quite often to Italy and was telling us about it. We talked about how much money was worth in Japan, Italy and Cambodia. Also, that Cambodia was really cheap to buy stuff, you can bargain one thing that many Westerners have little idea to do... She was telling me that the bargaining was great and that it made her feel fulfilled when she got stuff for a really cheap price. We all laughed. Friday [3/14] was my b-day so went out to leave some packages to the post office [moms & BFG sis]. The freaken' snow is terrible... They still haven't cleaned all up!! Drove to Walmart and went to get some buttons, ribbon and bought sewing material to make pillows for the kitties... Bought some pretty pink dishes and bowls, a heart shape cake pan and other kitchen wears at Stokes.... Went to Walmart at Angrignon to get more stuff... Went to Toy R Us to see if we could find a Wii as EB Games Jean-Talon had no more Wiis... The clerk-girl told us that there would be a new shipment tomorrow and the store will have only 20 which we needed to be there at least an hr early to get one... Got happy and bought WarioWare can't wait to play it... Passed by Mandou and got a new kitty box for the kitties... As theirs is missing the door and Miss Mimi pees out of the broken door... Got a Rosé Wine at the SAQ for dinner, which was Chinese food from Kam Ching's: Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce, steam chicken with ginger & scallion sauce, salt & pepper squid. I still feel like having that... it was so good...
Saturday woke up at 6am to go and stand inline at Toys R Us for a Wii... We bought 2 of them [for us and for my BFG's nieces] with extra controllers for each Wii and one Guitar Hero III, still thinking if we'll keep it or give it to them, it's up in the air. We spend about 1h 15 min in the cold [-5C] waiting in line. Many people showed up but there was 50 Wiis. We were 9th in line talked to people in line, it was fun but cold. Went to FabricVille and spend a few hours trying to decide what kind of fabric to get the kitties... Ended up going home and making food... Started on the making of the pillows and ended up going to bed around 4am...
Sunday woke up at 10:40am and spent it finishing the sewing of the pillow case for Carly... as I made her pillow for her so to lie down and have something fluffy. I was tired by 7pm! finished and tried to go to bed but BFG and the kitties were making so much noise that ended up falling asleep at around 10pm...
Monday... Spend lazily around the house. Helping my sis with some school papers she had due today... I corrected them and spend some time on the net... Watching YouTube and voting for some video award they're having on the 19th... there are 12 categories... you're allowed to vote once a day.... Finally, send email to people... Order the Wii lan adapter from Nintendo $38.24CAD. Also, BFG went to get my L-bracelet... Was really crazy to get that thing... The peeps told him that he would get it before my b-day but he didn't. He went nutzo on them and told them it was for a special occasion and they had promised and checked that it was available for him. He was really upset... Anyways, I got it yesterday night! It's OK but not the quality I would like... I am looking into the leather bag [260$] that's in the catalog, it's dusty-pink leather... sweet!!! I'm gonna get me that!! Heee...
Today was 9am. Made BFG breakfast and coffee, 11am work time... Been cleaning and updating my dairy on the web... reading the news and made lunch for myself... Will be going to start Miss Mimi's bed-pillow now! Ok maybe a little YouTube first... heee... need to see...Oh, BFG will miss American Idol, apparently he likes it... I'll see if I can record it on the drive... Dang one more thing I need to learn... heee... Been reading the Wii manuals before bed... Yep, still haven't connected that damn thing...

Last week ate yummy Indian food... Had some pizza a few days ago, 3 days ago had BK, 2 day before had A&W, yesterday I had Bibimbap [so my favorite!!!]... Today is DimSum & some other goodies from the Chinese Bakery... Yum...
It's warm out most of the snow has melted... It has rained the past few days and right now the wind is blowing... I can hear the green recycling containers!
30th Got up and made breakfast... Panettone french toast! pretty good!! BF got a breakfast recipe book and tried it... It was pretty good! Passed the day cleaning the kitchen and bedroom... there's a quite a bit of turkey left... watched some utube. feeling a bit stressed but nothing out of the ordinary. For dinner ate what else but TURKEY!!! YUMMY in my tummy... BF is working... bb in the evening...
31st was spend with the kitties as BF went to work... His phone was acting up which was really weird and kinda scared me a bit... I turned it off and left it there to look at it the next day... BF came back at 12:20am... a bit after midnight....

1st tired, tired..... cooked late breakfast.... ate turkey and watched some tv...
2nd spend it like the 1st.... except took a 4hr nap...
3rd was spend as the 1st & 2nd except that took Carly to the Vet for her appointment to see about her teeth... She has a broken tooth and needs some cleaning... The estimation was made and it will be over $550 but our regular Vet would be around 450$....Now its time to decide which place Carly will go and get her teeth done... My Mom's b-day was today...
So looking around for a turkey sandwich ended up on univision forums. It's in Spanish... had to use my g-translator as some of the words were not known to me. I need to practice my Spanish... I will read and see how the site is... Got my sis and mom's x-mas gifts... Sweet... Send bf to get bread and water crest.... My kitties Mitsuru and Carly are sleeping and probably dreaming of yesterdays turkey diner...
Watching OLTL not that great I prefer AMC n GH which are great! Talked to mom asked what 'escabeche' was she said it was crispy... Dang, tried to find it on g-translator and didn't work and then on other dictionary's and nothing came up except like places and other recipes with it...
Broke my left thumb nail yesterday cleaning the furniture... Damn, it will take like so long to grow back...
Wish that I could be in Japan again and go do my nails... I hate the way they do them here... It sucks! Still looking for someone to do them.... LOOKING!!!
✿ Was a bit early so I went to the dollar store bought some lace which was really cute...
I made a cushion today! It was fun... It took me a lot of time to do it. I had never really sewed, so it was a really slow process for me.... I did however have so much fun! I like the people that were there and the teacher was a sweetheart... The 3 hrs went by so fast!
'Friperie La Gaillarde.' I asked her to contact me when the next class would be offered. She said maybe in Sept. she would do another class which will run for about 3 consecutive Sat. which I am totally hung-ho! Asked her if I could have extra fabric to make another just like the one I had just made. She agreed....
B-G picked me up and showed him my art work! I was very satisfied and energetic... Went to the Korean/Japanese store to buy stuff to make Bibimbap... Have had it and its amazing! Want to learn how to make it!
Will be buying a sewing machine as soon as possible...
On the 16th we had Bibimbap and then the next night the same. BFG loved it so very much he didn't mind it having twice for dinner. :)
So, decided that to make yummy, yummy Bibimbap. Plus, the freaken regular resto we go to are taking a freaken vacation again!!! Arrggg.... BFG and hate when they go off on vacation cuz they close down the resto. So, sad... :(
Yum!! Need to remember to buy sesame oil cuz I used it all up for the Bibimbap. I should have remember when we went shopping yesterday. Damn... Oh well, I'll just pick it up on another occasion.
Was too lazy to put it into a nice dish... Whatever, it still tasted good... And plus it was only for bfg and me... :)
