Polymer Clay
April month was the introduction to polymer clay! I wanted to a long while to do some crafts with this... Have done already 7 batches of dingbats and all sorts of cuties... Even made a few charms for my kitties. I want to try some more fun stuff but its really hard to do some of the stuff... Specially when the clay gets too warm... need to leave to rest and cool... I usually put it in the freezer for a few minutes and then take it out.
Learn that from reading blogs and info on polymer clay... I have spend hours and hours on sites about it... Found a site where I found someone had made frosting (was going to buy PermaIce) for her donuts and asked how she made the frosting... She was nice enough to send me the info via email... I was so glad... She has a site `tooaquarius` and also found her flickr site!! She makes really nice beads and wonderful canes...
I can`t make canes to save my life...
I think I would need to do many tutorials... I tried the other night but my cane came out awful!!! I don`t think I have the technique down yet!! I love to make the cakes, got a tutorial from youtube from ebola909. There are not many tutorials on youtube on how to make things but found some really informative sites:craft gossip

Did some origami from tutorials from youtube... kinda fun... found other dingbats to do and made already about 7 batches... Currently, sick and not really up to doing some tutorials... Even though I want to do them and will eventually... Still wondering how you do those pillow beads???
Being sick is not a wonderful thing.... BFG brought it into the house from the hospital! He lost his voice and sounded really weird!! Now he looks find and I'm still sick with a runny nose!!! So much yukkiness...I haven't even seen my k-dramas... I get tired and nauseas still, so I need to lie down for a while and take it easy... Been sleeping somewhat as the nose is freaken blocked at night and prevents me from breathing... Been taking the sinus Tylenol pills and they somewhat help and use the Vick's to breath!!! Having 2 maladies at the same time is not fun!! AAAh, I want it to be over and done. Getting back to my usual self is not happening... Soon...
Yesterday, spend a few hours on flickr looking and adding peeps onto as contacts... I looked and saw some wonderful and interesting pictures... I really liked many of the creations people have made. Got some ideas... VerdeBlue gave me inspiration for ladybugs, turtle, carrots, oranges and lollipops! I thank her... my phone charms also gave me some inspirations, like my takoyaki with an octopus on top of it, the totoro crowd... gave up on the cat and mushroom... made some spaghetti from the inspiration we had last week! I love how my plates came out!!
Have found out that sculpey III is not a good material to use... Too brittle, I need to practice with it and then will buy the good stuff: prèmo, kato or regular fimo, not the soft fimo!!
